Technical competitor assessment
The technical assessment of competitor's products should be based on testing, inspection and strip-down of those products. Assessment should be based on the Design requirements and should be measured in the same units as the target values for the Design requirements. Other tools, such as Design for Assembly (DFA) analysis may prove useful in evaluating competitor's products.
