Competitor assessment
The customer's opinion of the competitor products is collected at the same time as the customer requirements. Competitor products are assessed for their ability to satisfy each customer requirement. The data is represented on a scale of one to five, where five indicates that the requirement is totally satisfied. The data may be input numerically or graphically. Results are displayed graphically.
Products are differentiated on the chart by using different symbols and / or colours. The "Competitor" column is graduated from 1 to 5, and a point is plotted for each product against each customer requirement. The points may optionally be connected by lines.
