Selection Criteria

The structured list of selection criteria may come from a number of sources:

They may be typed directly into the chart
They may be selected from the design requirements on one or more QFD charts
They may be a combination of these two

In our example the last three lines are displayed in black, showing that they were entered directly into this chart. The rest of the items are in blue because they are taken from another chart.

Pulling design requirements from a QFD chart is very simple. The window shown below is used to select items from QFD and transfer them to the concept convergence chart. When an item is selected, its heading is automatically selected as well.
